It’s the year of the World Cup so with all the footie action which has been going on, we thought we’d relive the memories of another classic football game, FOOTBALL GLORY.
Exciting New Games Coming Out in 2018
With 2018 already underway, we thought now would be as good a moment as any to take a look at some of the most anticipated new gaming releases of the year. Without further ado, let’s see what upcoming new games should be on every gamer’s radar in the year ahead.
Red Dead Redemption 2
Rockstar will treat fans of the original Read Dead Redemption to an exciting follow-up, in the form of a prequel. The story of the new western open-world adventure game is focused on the shenanigans of outlaw Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang, and will be filled with gunfights, horseback chases, and plenty of side missions.
The game, which releases in spring of 2018 and will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, will also include a new online multiplayer experience.
Dragon Ball FighterZ
This is the first proper fighting game in the Dragon Ball Z series and came out on PC, Xbox One and PS4 on January 26. Developed by Arc System Works and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, the game includes 3 vs 3 matches similar to Marvel vs Capcom, with players being able to swap out characters during a fight.
A Way Out
A Way Out is a co-op action-adventure game developed by Hazelight and published by Electronic Arts in which the characters try to break out of jail and eventually succeed, but will live on the run. The two protagonists, called Vincent and Leo, must learn how to work together in order to escape. Players will have to play alongside a mate, as the game can only be played in split screen co-op mode.
However, judging by the trailer, the co-op part doesn’t mean that the two partners will always be on the same page. If this piqued your interest, watch out for it on March 23, when it releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The upcoming first-person shooter from 4A Games is inspired by Dmitry Glukhovsky’s best-selling novel Metro 2035 and will appeal to those interested in survival horror games. It is set in a desolate, post-apocalyptic Moscow and features rabid creatures and monsters hiding at every turn, so it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. For those interested, it will come out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in the fall.
Far Cry 5
Ubisoft’s next iteration in the Far Cry series of action-adventure first-person shooters will take players to rural Montana and task them with taking down The Project at Eden’s Gate, a fanatical and violent death cult. Far Cry 5 will still include fan-favourite elements like memorable antagonists, animal companionship, stealth attacks, a polished weapons system and cooperative play, so it’s bound to be a success.
Wait for it on March 27, when it’s set to become available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Sea of Thieves
With a completely new approach, Sea of Thieves is aimed at people who fantasize about embarking on a pirate-themed adventure. It’s basically an open-world action-adventure game that will get players together to take on pirate quests. It will be available on March 20 on Xbox One and PC.
God of War
The upcoming release in the God of War franchise will star Kratos, the same bald-headed marauder known to fans of the game, accompanied by his son Atreus. The title, which is expected on April 20 on PS4, will center on the father-son dynamic, with Kratos teaching his son about the hardships of life.
